Job Description:
A company is looking for a Senior Power Systems Engineer
specializing in Transmission Planning, offering a 100% remote work
opportunity in the US or Canada.
Key Responsibilities
Perform and lead advanced power system studies for utilities and
ISOs
Develop mitigation plans for steady-state and dynamic
constraints
Train junior staff and manage project timelines and quality
objectives
Required Qualifications
Bachelor of Science or higher in Electrical Engineering with a
power systems emphasis
Prior experience as a Power Systems Engineer
Hands-on experience with steady-state and dynamic base cases in the
WECC region
Solid understanding of power system basics and proficiency with
software tools like PSS/E, PSLF, and TARA
Experience in developing and reviewing transmission planning
methodologies
