Position: Solar Loan OfficerReports to: Solar Program
ManagerType of Job: Full-time (Exempt)Location: Hybrid/Remote (Fort

expanding its impact nationwide.Job DescriptionThe Solar Loan
Officer will engage in extensive community outreach activities,
energy-efficient, and renewable energy contractor recruitment. The
Solar Loan Officer will work with clients to identify their needs
and educate clients on the different types of loan and grant
programs available. The Solar Loan Officer will work with the
Underwriting Department to present clients with the necessary
information for loan/grant evaluation and qualification. The Solar
Loan Officer will ensure excellent communication and client
satisfaction from loan/grant initiation, through project
management, and finalized loan/grant closing.--Key
ResponsibilitiesWork with applicants on the grant and/or financing
process.Extensive community engagement in public forums, community
meetings, and social media.Build collaborative relationships with
local contractors and solar government partners to accomplish
program goals.Build a local solar contractor network of home
improvement companies-with focus on renewable energy, energy
efficiency, green energy.Responsible for client and contractor
relations, loan documentation, and loan closings.Collection of
financial information and performance of loan pre-qualification
assessment.Assist clients with product selection, prescreening
contractors, fair pricing, project coordination, and loan
processing.Collaborate with the Executive Team and Marketing
Director on the strategic marketing needed to reach low-to
moderate-income homeowners.Maintain Company culture and represent
the organization with a high standard of quality customer service
at all points of contact.Other duties as assigned.--Preferred
QualificationsExperience with CDFIs, community development, impact
investment, or community banking is preferred.Bilingual (English
and Spanish).Experienced in solar energy and energy
efficiency.Excellent written and verbal communication skills as
well as exemplary customer service and people skills.Willingness to
travel throughout the South Florida region.Ability to collaborate
and communicate with a team while also being innovative and a
self-starter.Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, SalesForce,
and financial software.Experience working with nonprofits and
low-to-moderate income communities preferredExperience with solar
energy.Minimum of 3 years of experience as a loan
officer.Experience with consumer (unsecured) loan processing and at
least one other of the following loan types is preferred:
commercial/commercial rehab, construction, and
mortgage/housing.Lending and underwriting experience in a minimum
of two of the following loan types is required: consumer
underwriting, construction, green energy, mortgage/housing, and
consumer (unsecured and secured loans).Education and
CertificationsBachelor's degree Employment DetailsLocation:
In-office 3-5 days per week for the first year; hybrid options
available after.Travel: Minimal travel required for meetings and
conferences.Ability to walk, stand, sit for extended periods, and
lift up to 25 pounds.CompensationSalary Range: $75,000 - $85,000
(commensurate with experience)Comprehensive medical, dental, and
