Job Description:
A company is looking for a Product Counsel, Card Issuing.
Key Responsibilities
Provide legal counsel to product teams on banking-as-a-service
products, including credit and debit card offerings
Collaborate with various teams on issues related to payments,
regulatory compliance, and product commercialization
Advise on emerging legal developments affecting card products and
help establish effective legal review processes
Required Qualifications
5+ years of experience as a qualified lawyer in a law firm,
in-house legal team, or government agency, with expertise in cards
and financial regulations
JD degree (or local equivalent) and membership in at least one U.S.
state bar
Strong understanding of the U.S. card issuing and payments
industry
Experience in drafting and negotiating complex financial services
agreements
Ability to translate complex legal requirements into actionable
business advice
