knowledgeable, enthusiastic individual to join our Employment
Services team to provide job placement services to clients. The
candidate will facilitate clients' access to employment services in
the community; assist and coach clients with job searching, job
placement, interview preparation, resume modification, and promote
job retention; develop and review weekly job activities for
clients; and conduct client meetings within the community when
necessary.Responsibilities include:-- To implement, instruct, and
facilitate employability skills training including but not limited
to Job Ready, CBI, Digital Readiness, BOSS and other best practice
programs as adopted by the agency.-- Create a monthly Job Training
Classroom calendar detailing location and instructional topics to
be delivered.-- Provide interactive instruction to all program
participants to ensure they receive the best education possible.--
Coordinate tasks with volunteers facilitating mock interviews and
resume development in the Job Training Program.-- Work with Caf--
Joshua Case Managers to ensure client participation, attendance,
and increased employability skills through intensive job search
activities.-- Ensure project goals and outcomes are met as set by
the funder.-- Ensure Job Ready participants receive targeted
personalized services to promote job retention and a permanent
transition from homelessness.-- Assist in preparing the monthly
statistics for the Job Training Program.-- Attend weekly staffing
with Employment Coordinator and the Director of Employment
Services.-- Ensure curriculum goals and objectives are met
regarding all transitional job training programs.-- Attend
professional trainings as assigned by the agency.-- Complete Job
training lesson plans to be submitted by the Director of Employment
Services.-- Daily preparation to ensure success of classroom
lessons.-- Administer exams and quizzes.-- Assist in creating and
maintaining client files once they complete job ready class.--
Provide life coaching, job coaching and other case management as
needed.-- Collaborate with the Advancement Department as it applies
to gifts-in-kind and sharing client stories to aid the department
with necessary information to share the impact of The Lord's Place
with our community.-- Perform additional duties as assigned by the
Director of Employment Services.Recovery Oriented System of Care
(ROSC)Staff are expected to integrate and adopt the principles of a
Recovery Oriented System of Care in their delivery of services.

education preferred.-- Minimum of 1 year experience in teaching
adults preferred.-- Requires excellent verbal and written
communication skills.-- Requires proficient knowledge of Microsoft
Word, internet software and a web-based database.-- Prefer current
knowledge of employment skills, resume writing, interviewing and
relevant computer skills.-- Ability to use technology in the
classroom (computers, projector, Smart board etc.)Compensation
