Location: Lehigh Acres, FL (1110 Lee Blvd)

Essential Duties for a Radiographer:

• Receives and follows directives and instructions from radiologists, diagnostic imaging center manager, and technical director to properly perform the position's functions.
• Calculates and selects proper technical factors such as voltage, current, exposure time, focal distance, etc., based on information such as patient age, physical condition, and suspected pathology.
• Schedules patient examinations according to physician's orders as directed.
• Explains proper preparation to patients prior to procedure.
• Develops mammography films and related dark room duties, in addition to understanding the CR system and equipment.In addition to a collaborative work environment, we offer our basic machine operators a generous compensation package:

    • Required: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program or equivalent hospital-based program.
    • Required: Current ARRT and State of Florida license.
    • Required: CPR Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
    • Experience Required: None
